Sending the message of “Aloha” from Hawaiʻi to the world through the charm of the ʻukulele
This beautiful park, overlooking Diamond Head from east of Waikiki, is also a “sacred place for the ʻukulele,” where Hawaiian legend Roy Sakuma held ukulele festivals for over 50 years.
With the full cooperation of Roy Sakuma, we are carrying on his legacy and aiming to share the charm of the ʻukulele with ukulele fans all over the world.
The International ʻUkulele Festival brings joy to the world and sends a message of peace through the ukulele, a music loved not only locally but worldwide.
This festival is hosted by the Hawaii Ukulele Foundation, a non-profit organization in Hawaii. Why not experience a truly sublime day, cherishing the process of beautiful music blending with the gentle Hawaiian breeze?

International ‘Ukulele Festival of Hawai’i is recruiting volunteers to run the festival smoothly. We have various volunteer roles for anybody interested. We will offer a free official T-shirt and other benefits to volunteers.
