Mahalo to everyone who joined us for the 3rd International Ukulele Festival!

Blessed with beautiful Hawaiian weather, we were able to celebrate another unforgettable day of music, friendship, and aloha. The festival was a wonderful success, and it would not have been possible without so many incredible people coming together.

To all of the musicians who shared their talent and passion on stage, the volunteers who generously gave their time, our sponsors and partners who supported the event, and the staff members who worked tirelessly behind the scenes—sometimes with very little sleep—thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

This year also marked the return of the International Ukulele Contest after a two-year break. The performances by our finalists brought fresh inspiration and excitement to the stage. Their creativity, skill, and unique musical voices reminded us that the future of the ukulele is bright, and that its possibilities continue to grow with every new generation of players.

One of the greatest joys of this festival was seeing so many smiles, hearing so much laughter, and feeling the spirit of connection that only the ukulele can create. More than an instrument, the ukulele has a special way of bringing people together across cultures, generations, and backgrounds.

And finally, to everyone who attended, cheered, sang along, and shared in the experience—mahalo nui loa. Your enthusiasm and aloha are what make this festival truly special.

We look forward to seeing you again next summer at Kapiʻolani Park.

Until then, keep playing, keep sharing aloha, and keep the music alive.

Aloha and Mahalo!

Kazuyuki Sekiguchi

Over the course of three amazing days, we welcomed an incredible total of around 20,000 attendees.
Thanks to all of you, the festival was a massive success and filled with so much joy and energy from start to finish!
