KJ

KJ (KyungJung Kim) is a ukulele artist supported by the Hawaiian ukulele brand KoAloha Ukulele. Mentored by ukulele master Kimo Hussey, he studied the traditional Hawaiian two-finger style at its source and has reinterpreted it into his own distinctive musical voice.

Based in South Korea—where the ukulele scene was once largely undeveloped—”KJ” has played a key role in introducing and popularizing the instrument through television appearances, live performances, and online platforms, both domestically and internationally. His artistry was also featured in depth on KBS Human Documentary <Forest of People>.

With the release of his full-length album <BIG WAVE>, featuring 11 original compositions, KJ continues to expand his musical journey, earning growing attention for his expressive and forward-looking approach to the ukulele.
