Kiiyamashouten

Kiiyamashouten is an energetic entertainment band formed by three cousins and brothers from Ishigaki Island, Okinawa — Ryosa, Masuto, and Daichan.

The band takes its name from a traditional Japanese candy shop once run by their grandmothers on the island.
Since forming in 2008, they have gained popularity for their joyful island sound, humorous storytelling, and lively stage performances that bring smiles to audiences of all ages.
In 2013, they collaborated with the legendary Okinawan band BEGIN as the special unit “Bigiyama Shouten,” releasing the Ishigaki New Airport PR song “Okaeri Painu Shima.”

From playful comic songs filled with Okinawan dialect to heartfelt ballads and danceable tunes, Kiiyamashouten’s music reflects the warmth, humor, and spirit of island life.
