We are “Shinachichi,” a ukulele band from Tokyo. It all started when a group of music-loving dads—who met because their daughters attended the same school—decided to play the ukulele together.
Before we knew it, we found ourselves standing on this stage in Hawaii—a dream come true for us.
We will be performing Hawaiian standards, accompanied by the beautiful hula of “Hālau o Wahine Hele Lā”—a group active in Sendai—to express our gratitude.
